Basic informations

The Institute provides wide range of expertises and services for operators of the nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic and abroad. It supports central state institutions in the Czech Republic in domains of strategic energetic control and management of radioactive waste (Ministry of Trade and Industry), provides independent professional expertise for the State Office of Nuclear Safety, provides development of exploitation of ionizing radiation and irradiation services for basic and applied research, health service and industry, provides research and services for radioactive waste disposal, production of radiopharmaceuticals, education and training of expert and scientific specialists and many other activities. Apart from that, the Institute also functions in nonradiactive domains, for example in energetic domain, chemical industry and environmental protection. Division ENERGOPROJEKT Praha – design and engineering activities capital construction, know-how in areas of energetic and heating plant industry, steam cycles, combined heat and power drive, refuse incinerating plant, biome gasification of angles, IPPC, energy audits, PDMS systems of database projection.
