CANIS SAFETY Inc. is a Czech company – leading Czech importer, producer and distributor of personal protective equipment and aids which ensure safety and health protection at work.
The company was founded in 1993 by two brothers Jaromír and Jiří Rataj. It was founded as association of two individuals. In 2003 we have become a joint stock company named CANIS SAFETY Inc. Currently we employ more than 400 employees including 52 disabled persons.
Our sale strategy is focused on both retail and wholesale. We have a network of sales branch offices all over the Czech Republic (Petřvald, Ostrava, Ostrava – Mariánské Mountains, Třinec, Havířov, Hlučín, Olomouc, Brno, Jihlava, Pardubice, České Budějovice, Prague, Liberec, Jablonec upon Elbe), sales branch offices in the Slovak Republic (Košice and Bratislava) and wholesale directly from central logistic centre in Petřvald, where is storage area about 11000 m2.
In our assortment are offered working clothes and overalls, working shoes, gloves, goods for work at heights and for protection of eyesight, hearing and head. We profit from our long-time experiences with direct import of goods from Asian countries. We develop and product our own series of working clothes such as SIRIUS, LUX, ORION, CXS, VENATOR, VISION, WAITOMO, shoes DOG, DR. CORK, GOTEX, ISLAND, ROAD, ROCK, STONE and respirators SPIRO. We are also an authorized distributor of several prestigious European brands such as 3M, ANSELL, ANTICUT, BESTARD, DUPONT, KIMBERLY CLARK, MAPA, OKULA, PROHELM, PROTEKT, SAD and exclusive distributor of working shoes BAŤA INDUSTRIALS. All of this is complemented by our own custom manufacturing of working clothes and prints according to client’s requirements.
Quality system is annually confirmed by certification according to CSN EN ISO 9001:2008.
