The KOVAP cooperation is a continuer of the former KOVODRUZSTVO Nachod, founded in 1950. The main firm programme is production of mechanic metal sheet toys. The cooperation id divided into two production centres: in Novy Hradek and in Semily and one administration centre. *The production centre in Novy Hradek - MINES* has 4 main production sections: 1) PRESSING SHOP OF PLASTICS AND METALS with 20 injection moulding machines with horizontal and vertical injection and weight from 35 to 200 g. CS and ENGEL types. Commonly processed materials: PS, PE, PP, ABS, PA, POM nad other according to the customer's requirements. The we have 5 eccentric presses - 3pcs 25t and 2pcs 10t for pressing - metal sheet forming. 2) TOOL SHOP is equiped with necessary machinery including electroerosive drilling machines and cutting machines. We have own design of moulds and tools. This production section concentrates on production of bothe new moulds for injection casting and various cutting and forming tools for metal sheet (cuts, bends, drawings) and various agents and aids. 3) PRINTING SHOP FOR OFFESET PRINTING OF METAL SHEETS where metal sheet tables of the format 765x535mm and of the thicknesses 0,24mm and 0,32mm in realisation „black“ and „tin“ are printed. The printing is made with classic four-colour printing and surface colours. The perfomance of a printer is according to complication of printing and size of the series from 2500 to 5000 tables per a shift. 4) DYNACAST is a Canadian machine for injection of aluminium (Zn Al4 Cu3) under pression. Here we produce small but precise casts to the thickness of 25 g. The machine has a performance of smaller parts up to 40pcs/min. The price of injection moulds ranges from 40-50 CZK. These aluminium casts are processed by using of common ways (powder colour, metal-plating etc.). *The production centre a Semily has 3 main production sections*: 1) METAL PRESSING SHOP - 12 pcs of eccentric presses in heavy metal sheet pressing shop - 2 pcs 40t, 5 pcs 25t, 3 pcs 10t and 2 pcs 6,3t for pressing - metal sheet forming. Then we have there 2 pcs of hydraulic presses and 20 pcs of eccentric presses 1 to 2t in light metal sheet pressing shop. EV BLISS shears for metal sheet tables (metal sheet thickness of 1mm). 2) MACHINING SHOP - 10 pcs of turning automats - 4 pcs AD 6, 2 pcs AD 12 and 2 pcs AD 16. The we have 6 pcs of gear milling semi-automats - 3 pcs of SAFAG 118 IA, 1pc of SAFAG 2, 1pc of WYSSBROD 125 IIA and 1 pc of gear hobbing machine GAUTHIER. 3) MOUNTING - we employ from 30 to 40 assembly workers there.
