Subterra Corp. is a multidisciplinary building company. It is a part of Metrostav Group and its manufacturing schedule includes underground, ground and transport building industry. The company also provides technical equipment of the constructions and technological units in terms of big infrastructure constructions. This basic division of manufacturing schedule agrees with organization structure of the production that is divided in four production divisions and one service division. Subterra Company realizes the orders in various building branches such as water management constructions or maintenance of old ecological loads. The company works all over the Czech Republic and has experiences with working abroad, where in currently expanding its scope. The company established organization constituents: in Croatia, Serbia, Hungary and Slovakia.

History of the company dates back to 1964, when the company started implementing its first important orders in the sphere of underground constructions. Since then the company again and again confirms its qualities as a contractor of important and very often unique projects. Among the most noted finished constructions belong Prague collectors in the city centre, tram line from Hustočepy to Barrandov and other infrastructural constructions, where Subterra played the significant role, such as road tunnel Mrázovka or railway tunnel Nové Spojení (“New Connection”). We also should not forget the participation in expansion of Prague metro, in the recent past – paths IV.CI. and IV. CII. and currently V.A. Outside the capital city the company ensures mainly modernizations and reconstructions of single sections of railway corridors that is often connected with reconstructions or constructions of new tunnels.

Subterra Corp. has established and certificated management systems QMS, EMS, SMS, ISMS and SA8000. It is confirmed by care, that is applied to quality of production, safety and hygiene of work, relation to environment, information security and corporate responsibility.
